Natalie Portman Nose Job Before and After

slimmed nose Job

Another slim and trimmed nose. Not bad, pretty delicate work.

Shadows playing tricks on the eyes? Compare the difference in width and shape under the nose and above the lip. It is hard to tell with the slightly different camera angles but it does appear a bit refined in some photos.

she has cute face but too short to be a beautiful woman, sorry natalie 4/10

  • s

@ steve? wtf. so short woman can’t be beautiful? that’s a load of bull crap!

  • Maria

She didn’t need to do anything, she was really pretty, with a delicate face.
For me,it’s not a good job, or decision of her. Please, it’s like she did it just to say “I’ve got my nose done”.
So sad. So bad. If she didn’t need, it’s not pretty or good. It’s just dumbness.

I’m not sure these pictures show a nose job. One’s nose looks broader when one smiles. Natalie is smiling in the first photo. That might be why her nose looks larger there. I’m unconvinced. Either way, she has a lovely face in both photos.

  • adowner

that’s a childhood photo… it’s sort of hard to compare it with her adult nose.

  • JC

It is looking strongly that she did do the nose because I was wondering how she didn’t look Jewish at all to me when my dad said hey did you know she’s Jewish, not one feature of her face really looks Jewish to me, and I say this because I am Jewish, not as some anti-semitic remark at all, my family to me looks Jewish even if you can’t pinpoint it to one thing like a nose. I have a long face, larger than life ears and I’m just wondering how should would luck out to have not even the slightest of Jewish features somewhere in her face. I mean my giant ears used to stick out as child, I had one surgery to pin back years ago, now I need have 2nd surgery for reduction. My nieces are just as pretty as her, but still look Jewish in some way and I think slimming her nose made her take that Jewish look away, which I don’t think was necessary to be attractive, although I might not have blamed Barbara Streisand or Jennifer Gray for doing a little alteration.

love her! love her Dad, who was my infertility doctor on Long Island!!!

JC, she’s half Israeli and if you’ve ever seen pictures of Sabra Israelis they are incredibly beautiful and don’t look like the European Jews. Ashkenazi Jews from Europe are much more “ethnically Jewish” looking by our standards than Sephardic or Oriental/Arabic Jews. I, too, am an Ashkenazi Jewish woman.

JC- i completely agree with you, natalie does not look any more jewish than keira knightly – and im jewish. growing up in a small northeastern town with not one but two parents of jewish descent, i became the token jewish girl early on. even though i knew then as i do now that hollywood is predominantly jewish, the only celebrity i felt i could identify with physically was winona ryder. i really liked winona and was devastated when i heard she’d had a nose job. of course, i know people will say that i’m silly and that i’m overemphasizing the impact that celebrity plastic surgery has on the general population. i know they will say that a nose is just a nose and that her acting doesn’t change as a result of that nose. this is all true and i still do like winona. however, good or bad, celebrities set the standard of beauty. and in my experience, when you’re young, seeing someone who looks like you, in movies and on magazine covers, someone with a nose like yours, makes you feel not only ok and accepted, but somehow unexplainably beautiful.

  • sharon

both of her parents have very jewish looking noses……hard to believe genetics gave her the one she has now.

  • ni

I’m watching her on Style star right now and it is so clear that she had a nose job that when the show first started and they were showing her young, I was shocked because it looked NOTHING like her. Her nose was huge with a big dip towards her lip.

  • Annon

Has anyone here smiled before? The nostrils go wider when you smile. Has anyone here been 16 before? Your nose looks bigger on your face. Has anyone here been a talentless f**ckwit who is quick to criticise others based on how they look, and apparently their height, yet have no talent themself? Yes, for the second and third points. The first is still in question.

  • katrina

i dont think she did plastic surgery on her nose. both of the “before” photos, she was smiling, and when we smile, our noses tend to expand. and because our lips go up to bond with our smile, the distance between the nose and the smile is reduced. and i think most of it is make up, and our face changes as we grow up.

What I don’t understand is those people who are so defiant and ready to lash out at any comment that is geared toward their culture even if it was not stated to them personally; state how proud they are of their culture, yet will have every possible surgery performed, (or change eye color)that indentifies characteristic’s of that culture.

I don’t know for sure that she had a nose job but if she did it looks great. Jewish women, like myself are dumped on for plastic surgery. I’ve never had any but i know that if I was able to I’d have been so much happier. But I was very harassed by family/bs friends when younger and now I’m way pissed. I wasn’t secure enough to fight that kin d of anti-semitism /sexism that maintains that doing cosmetic work on oneself amounts to lacking pride “in one’s racial heritage” or whatever when I was young. I cannot tell you the pain that caused or regret.Or the resentment I feel about such frenemies.
I think that ultimately one of the big reasons that people longer, hooked or humped noses fix them is that it can look really bad during the aging process if left unaddressed and affect the love, work , social life of aging women. It certainly has done that to me. My grandmother had way bad genes in terms of her face and aging process and she hid inside even though she was so bright and talented. Now I am starting to face the same downward slope and I wished I would have tuned everyone out ten years ago-around thirty- and just focussed on myself. It would be really hard to do well now.
If someone, famous or unknown gets work done, all anyone can do is be really happy for them that it turned out alright without problems or complications.

She is so beautifull, before and after. I see the beauty in her smile and in the way that she look at everything. Es hermosaaaaaa

  • Maria

Her nose is perfection. Great nose job. It makes us, mortals, a little happier to know that she isn’t naturaly perfect

  • Anonymous

When you smile, the bridge of your nose does NOT get wider. Her bridge is definitely more narrow in the second picture. Nose job for sure!

  • Frank

    @ Anonymous

Are you being serious right now? Your nose DOES get wider when you smile. Good grief, I’m sure you have a brain. Now use it.

  • Melanie

Yeah so she did have a nose job but unlike some celebrities she hasn’t had her whole face redone.

She’s beautiful before and after, she’s a natural beauty without any cheek implants, botox, boob job, chin implants etc… She’s a role model girls should look up to not fakes.

  • MostLikely

@rose “Now I am starting to face the same downward slope and I wished I would have tuned everyone out ten years ago-around thirty- and just focussed on myself. It would be really hard to do well now.”

Rose, if you really feel like that will change your life, it’s not too late. My older sister had her nose done in her forties. Frankly, she was a beautiful woman before the work, though she never believed it. She looked Jewish, and she was lovely. But she never believed it.

The nose and eyes looked different afterwards, and the smaller nose (and probably, facelift) gave her a constantly surprised, sort of startled look. It wasn’t a bad job, but it wasn’t an undetectable one, either. She looks different, not better.

And now, some years after the surgery, her nose has started to very slightly turn to the side near the tip. It did not do that pre-surgery. Whether this is a result of taking out too much cartilage or whether she had some injury she didn’t mention, I don’t know. But I preferred her old nose to the new one.

Long story short: don’t think that fixing your nose would have changed your life. Some of the happiest and most attractive to the opposite sex women I know are not conventionally “movie-star” beautiful, but they know how to make the most of what they have. And usually, they have an incredible innate confidence that most other women – pretty or ugly – lack.

  • bob

She looked better before the nose job…

  • Cassio

These photos are very bad – there’s no way to make a good comparison b/c of age and the angles of her face. Get some better photos if you want us to beleive it.

First of all, I’d like to make it clear that I am a huge fan of Ms Portman and I’ve always found her gorgeous. I have followed many of her movies over the years since her film debut in Léon a.k.a The Professional when she was just 13. Looking back at early pictures of her, I have to admit that she does look more beautiful now than ever. Her nose does indeed appear to be more narrow. However, the change is quite subtle not strikingly obvious like Jennifer Grey’s or Angelina Jolie’s. Credit must surely be given to her surgeon who has done a phenomenal job of making it looking perfect in a way that doesn’t scream “NOSE JOB”. What’s wrong with a teeny bit of plastic surgery if you can achieve perfection through it? The trick is to know when to stop. Natalie Portman knew exactly this. Let’s hope she keeps her good sense and doesn’t spoil her looks by getting any more work done, as she clearly doesn’t need it. Maybe just botox in 10 years. ;)

  • Terry

Natalie Portman had more done than just a nose job. Notice the eyelids. In the “before” picture, she had no separation between the eyelash area and the upper eyelid bone; it was all just one flap of skin. In the “after” picture, she has a properly shaped eye that looks very pretty. Also, notice the difference in the lips; they look more shapely and contoured in the “after” picture.

I didn’t know that Ms. Portman was also a creation of the scalpel. What a shame. Are there no natural beauties in present-day society? What happened to the beauties of the 40s and 50s, an era before plastic surgery became common? Society is a mess. Mostly everyone is a fake or seeking to be a fake. This reminds me of the show “V,” where disgusting-looking, lizard-like aliens make themselves look like attractive humans. Yuck!

  • Terry

I just realized that Ms. Portman has a very ethnic Jewish look in the “before” pictures. Her lips look like Barbra Streisand’s. In the second picture, her lips look completely different, with a very nice “V” peak in the upper lip. Is she Jewish?

  • JC

Jewish self hate! Just goes to show, Jews know, in their heart of hearts, that they are inferior to the European goy, not the other way around!

  • Pat my ass

all the people that is hating on Natalie nose you are just mad because she can afford the nose job

  • SM

Please!!!!??? it’s just looking like she has a bigger nose because of the perspective, how the picture was taken, if you take a picture of you a bit from the top of your face or a picture from the profile, your nose it’s going to look different. That’s no true, she never had a surgery!
    People… seriouslyyy…!!!???

  • FOTONERD

    to the above comment ..
yes she is too short to be beautiful ..
her height is not proportionate to the size of her enormous head ..
anyone who has seen her in person is ‘stunned’ when confronted with her ..
she is VERY unattractive in person with very short arms & legs to boot !
    sorry ….it’s true …
fotoshop is her best friend ..

  • FOTONERD

yes what happened to real beauties !
we are force fed these hollywierd clone aliens without mercy ….
    ugly ….but connected ..
    somebody owed her a favor …ugh …

  • Galle

Ms. Portman has most definitely had a nose and eyelid augmentation. Those surgeries have not, however, detracted from her beauty. She is stunning.

  • dana

anything to get rid of that jewish nose!!

  • poiboy

you’re all crazy. you are comparing shots of when she was a child(!) to when she was an adult. seriously? your face changed from childhood to adult. she has had no augmentation. seriously.

  • Hmmm...

She’s had the bridge refined to create a more delicate nose. Celebs do this because it’s part of their jobs to be “perfect.” Especially the ones who want to be the big stars and be known for their beauty, etc. etc. It’s an unfortunate example they set for impressionable youth because no one was put on this earth perfect. No one. But no celeb is allowed or wants to be honest about it. Hypocritical and sad. But i have to say that when the plastic surgery is tastefully done, it looks very good. And these people definitely have the money to find the best doctors/artists out there to do the best jobs. What a challenge it’s becoming more and more to just be happy and grateful with what you were born with.

  • k

her nose looks natural. all you need is a light concelor and powder foundation and you can have it look like the the second. she really didnt need a nose job.

  • Maya

She grew up, so the proportions of her face changed and make up did the rest. Some of you people seem a bit paranoid when it comes to tracking the effects of plastic surgery… Just go and look at your pictures from when you were young and see if you still look exactly like you did when you were 11, 13, 15 and 17. I sure as hell have changed since then and I didn’t need help from a plastic surgeon to start looking like an adult. ;)

  • Ash

People , get smart . When you lose weight or age , features will change . Plus the angle of the pics taken also makes a huge difference . She’s a great actress and that’s all that matters . So what if she’s short ? Does that make her a worse person or a worse actress? No .it doesn’t . And just to keep it in mind ., there are plenty of short people in this planet, and that doesn’t mean all of them are ugly . Everybody is beautiful in their own way . No one has the right to critise others . If u think ur beautiful , thank god and get done with it . Don’t start making others feel bad by criticizing their looks

  • Angie

Seriously it looks the same to me =/

  • kurious kitty

people get smart, everyone in hollywood has had something done

  • MarksMom

The nose is definitely narrower and the nostrils have been reshaped. She looks like she got Brooke Shields’ nose. The third picture down on the right, she looks a lot like Brooke.

  • Cool Cat

Who cares? She is beautiful in both the before and after pictures. If she wanted to slightly modify her nose what is the big deal? Sites like this are for trolls and jealous people.

  • Jess

@Steve you do realize the Megan Fox and her are almost exactly the same height right?
