Mickey Rourke Is At It Again

We’ve told you before about Mickey Rourke’s face, and how it’s not the prettiest thing in the world. The star of the Wrestler and The Expendables went through massive reconstructive surgery at the end of his boxing career, and the results weren’t what he had hoped for; leaving Rourke with a very bloated and plastic look. Well Mickey Rourke is no quitter folks, and he’s back on that plastic surgery saddle; this time though, it’s for a movie role…that he doesn’t have yet. Rourke claims to have gotten his recent eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) in preparation for his playing the role of Rugby star Gareth Thomas; the world’s first openly gay professional athlete. We have a couple of problems with the whole thing though, namely that Gareth Thomas looks like he was made in a lab somewhere, and Rourke looks like your aunt Silvia after a visit to the Botox clinic. Who knows though, maybe Rourke will get enough surgery that he’ll start to resemble a 37 professional athlete…
