We cracked down on Kenny pretty hard for the work he’s had done. See here for some of the other before-afters: Kenny’s Facelift but maybe that was a little over-the-top, we kinda feel bad for him after hearing the details. Here’s the more detailed story:
The now 70 year old country singer Kenny Rogers, has confessed to having had plastic surgery after marrying Wanda Miller in 1997. Since she was almost 30 year his junior, he felt that he had to look younger and more youthful for his younger wife. Something he regrets to this day he confessed, was to make the decision to have work done on his face. And we all know it didn’t turn out too well for the star. He admits that he was embarrassed by how his eyes looked after the surgery. But he gave himself hope that he will look better as the stuff settles in. He also added that in life you make choices, some are good and some are bad, and he made a bad one. Sounds like another country song in the making here, looking forward to it Kenny, crank a few more good ones out. Would it be the first country song about plastic surgery?
Dr. Tony Youn a plastic surgeon, was quoted about two years ago saying that the stars plastic surgeon had in fact taken a bit too much of the eyelid skin off and that is what makes his lids appear stretched too tight. This problem cannot be easily corrected. The skin may loosen up a bit after a while but that is not the case for everyone. But we’re all hoping it will happen for this guy. In addition to the eyes, it is speculated that he had a facelift, brow lift, and botox injections. Anyway, at 70 Kenny only has a few years left where he could possibly try to hold his looks together and then it all fades away pretty quick. Its not so bad, you gotta go with what you got.

He looks terrible. He wanted to look younger. Unfortunately, he now looks like he is about twenty years older. He looks like he is 90 rather than 70. And, of course, he had more than just his eyes done. I have seen Kenny Rogers twice in concert. He appeared to be rather egotistical. Maybe this will bring him down a peg or two.
I feel bad for him. No doubt, he lost his good looks. I believe strongly “LEAVE YOUR BODY ALONE”!!!
I feel bad for Kenny!!! He was a very handsome man!! These cellebritys have so much money & dont know what to do so they changes there looks. Hey we all get old, thats the way it is, so accept it.
i used to think kenny rogers was so good looking. i always thought if i had the money i would like a face lift,but i look at people who had them and they look worse. as kenny aged he got better and better looking. its a shame what he has done to himself.he looks nothing like himself. if i saw him in a magazine without his old pics i wouldnt recognize him. kenny im sure your the same person inside but on the outside once u were hot now your not.

I liked Kenny just the way he was and was saddened to hear that he thought he needed to look younger. I’ve admired those in the entertainment business that let Mother Nature take her course. Once they go under the knife, they Never look the same. I do hope things relax some, concerning his eyelids, etc. He, indeed, was looking better and better as time went on…you can never go back though.
He looks older now, and unnatural. I’m glad to see he realizes it was a bad decision. Wish we could get the “old” Kenny back. But he still has a wonderful voice, and all I have to do is close my eyes and I can see him the way he was
