Smokey Robinson – Motown’s Quiet Storm

Smokey Robinson is Motown royalty. His “Quiet Storm” voice is unmistakable. But, to some of his loyal fans, his face is not. Smokey is rumored to have gone under the knife for a brow lift, blephroplasty (eyelid surgery) and a face lift. The singer’s face is thinner and his skin looks like a pulled rubber band. The only explanation is a facelift. He looks strange. Robinson’s brow lift looks as if he has a surprised look on his face 24/7. I looked at an older picture of Robinson, and he was handsome. His eyebrows were closer to his eyes. Today, he looks a hot mess. I don’t understand why a man would want to have that much surgery done to him. Internet rumors suggest that Robinson also had a rhinoplasty. I beg to differ with that suggestion. He has the same nose and pretty green eyes, but he is a good example of plastic surgery gone wrong. Then, some contend he didn’t have plastic surgery. Yeah right! So much for aging gracefully, Smokey.

JK Rowling: Harry Potter Author’s Plastic Magic

Sometimes you get plastic surgery, and sometimes you earn plastic surgery. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows author and billionaire (yup there’s a writer that’s made billions off of her work, art isn’t dead folks) JK Rowling definitely earned whatever work she’s had done. The single mother started her writing career while on the UK’s version of welfare, and while supporting her infant daughter and trying to get her master’s degree, so needless to say, she was deservedly a bit haggard when we all first laid eyes on her in the late 90s. However, now that she’s “buy her own country” rich, she can afford to look her best, and she’s done just that. She appears to have gotten eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) in order to remove the bags from under her eyes and give them a more vibrant look, and also appears to have had some sort of skin treatment (maybe Botox or Restalyne injections, maybe laser smoothing). Whatever she’s done, she spent the right money with the right doctors, because she looks amazing. She looks very much her age, but a perfect version of it. She didn’t overdue it, and by also losing some weight, she looks just right. So we commend you JK, you’re an amazing author, and an amazing patient.

U2′s Bono – Did He or Didn’t He Get Plastic Surgery?

Are the rumors true? Did Bono have plastic surgery?

Looks like U2 front man Bono might have paid a visit to the plastic surgeon.

In recent years Bono has really been his showing his age. If you notice he is always wearing sunglasses to hide his tired eyes. Bono didn’t strike me as the type who put much weight in vanity, but I guess when you are the front man of one of the world’s biggest rock bands, you are. Bono’s eyes were really starting to develop crow’s feet badly. It looks like he had an eyelid procedure called a blepharoplasty. His eyes were always wrinkled and puffy looking. They appear much more sunken in now. He also may have treated his face. Could be Botox injections, or maybe Restylane. He also may have had a chemical peel. It’s hard to say what else Bono might have had done but he looks slightly odd to me now. Other rumors have Bono getting what they call a mid and a low face-lift. It’s also been widely reported that Bono has had a hair transplant. That procedure is really easy to spot. Bono has been noticeably thinning for years. It looks like he also uses some concealer and thickeners in his hair to give it a fuller look. I think Bono is starting to age awkwardly now. There is nothing wrong with being a wrinkled rock star. Just ask Mick Jagger.

Joan Rivers – Queen of Plastic Surgery

If there was a Queen of plastic surgery it would have to be Joan Rivers. The comedy legend has been messing with her faces for decades now. Joan has had just about every procedure possible. Multiple times. Facelifts, nose jobs, chemical peels, brow lifts, cheek lifts. Joan is so filled with Botox and collagen injections she can barely show facial expressions anymore. Joan has also admitted to having a breast augmentation. Joan is known to make fun of herself for getting so much plastic surgery and doesn’t regret any of it. Joan had her first procedure, an eyelid lift in 1965. This surgery is also known as a Blepharoplasty. You can imagine the technologies back then were very limited compared to today. It was after this procedure Joan started her addiction to plastic surgery. Next she had a nose job (rhinoplasty) followed by several other procedures.

Over the decades joan has had so many cosmetic surgeries she does not resemble anything what she once looked like.  Joan has been quoted as saying “Plastic surgery is not about what you look like, it’s about what you think you look like.” It’s Joan’s life, and of course she can live it any way she chooses, but any sane person will admit she has gone way too far and looks completely like an insane person.

Cher – Plastic Surgeries Reigning Diva

Cher has been partly open about having plastic surgery however people claim that she is not being open about how much time she has spent under the knife. I mean she’s not exactly hiding anything but we can’t expect her to provide a list and go into details either.

So let’s get specific about what has been going on:
1. Facelift – this evident because her jaw line is much tighter than a regular 64 year old woman.
2. Brow lift – her eyebrows now are even higher than they were when she was a girl.
3. Botox injections – her forehead barely has wrinkles which is a bit unusual for her age.
4. Lower blepharoplasty – she has no bags under her eyes.
5. Rhinoplasty – this procedure has been good to her, even though she has had more than one.

However, most people think all her procedures have done an amazing job keeping her young, aside from a few pictures where she has been paparazzied without makeup and looking a little saggy. Some might make the case that her face is starting to look a little stretched and smoothed over. She always looks good when she is ready to make an appearance. She has been pretty smart with her image.
