Performing over 30,000 solo shows over 40 years can earn you the nicknames “Mr. Las Vegas”, “The Midnight Idol”, and “Mr. Entertainment”. It can also earn you adoration of middle to old aged women all over the world (and there underwear when it gets tossed on stage…ugh). It can also make you want to get a bunch of plastic surgery and botox in order to hold on to your sex appeal. Such is the case of famed Vegas songman Wayne Newton. It seems to me that he’s has had an upper blepharoplasty, and a full on facelift, resulting in his eyebrows always appearing raised (maybe he’s just surprised a lot), and his jaw being a little too defined for someone almost in his 70s. I think he looks a bit ridiculous, but what the hell, the guy still puts the moves on ladies half his age and is worth like a zillion bucks, so more power to him.
