It is nice to see an actress of color who is has not gone under the knife to halt aging or change an ethnic quality. Viola Davis, who has proven her talent by earning Academy and Golden Globe award nominations, is a natural beauty and has many plastic surgeons in agreement that Davis has not dappled with plastic surgery. There is nothing artificial about the actress, who, in 2001, won a Tony Award for her portrayal in King Hedley II. Her nose is full with rhino-style nostrils. Davis’ nose lacks the downward-pointing tip that is evident with actresses of color with nose jobs. She even has a smile that exposes most of her gums. An analysis of Davis’ pictures shows the only thing she has changed is her hairstyle. If weave is the only major adjustment, that is not a problem for me. While some plastic surgeons endorse surgery or Botox injections to aid beauty, it is rewarding to see some actresses prefer good-ole makeup. Praise to Viola for keeping it real!
