When she left her position as co-host of Live With Regis and Kathy Lee ten years ago, Kathy Lee Gifford, despite being one of the most polarizing hosts in modern television, was at least aging well. She looked great for a woman of almost fifty, but just like she couldn’t stay away from television (she has since gone on to host The View, and Today), Kathy Lee couldn’t stay from the Botox needle. Now, as she nears sixty, the former sweat shop owner (can you guess which pole I sit on?) looks just a bit too smooth. Her skin looks too tight, and she has the famous “Botox vein” in her forehead. She doesn’t look terrible, but she looks very fake, and has lost the grace in her aging. She almost looks like a whole other person; like someone’s “cool aunt” that buys underage kids beer and awkwardly flirts with her nephew’s friends to prove that she’s still got it. I’m aware she doesn’t do that stuff, but she kind of looks like someone who would.
