Most people know Karina Smirnoff as a multi-time runner-up, and the champion professional partner J.R. Martinez in the thirteenth season of Dancing With The Stars. She’s also notable for having posed in Playboy, and for dating A.C. Slater (or as the kids call him, “Mario Lopez”). However, she’s also an extremely successful professional dancer, winning 5 U.S. National Championships, a World Trophy Championship, and a slew of other titles; oh yeah, and she also got a really unecessary nose job (rhinoplasty). Looking at her ‘before and after’ pictures, it seems as if she was attempting to soften her nose up, and make it a less sharp feature. However, she only got work done on her nose (building the bridge a bit and making it thinner), leaving the rest of her features sharp, and causing her nose to stick out, both literally and figuratively. Her sharp features are part of her look, so by changing just one of them, it makes her face look unbalanced. She really should have just left well enough alone; but hey, she finally won Dancing With The Stars, so maybe the plastic surgery was good luck.
