Actress Julianne Moore joins a growing list of actors in Hollywood speaking out against plastic surgery. The actress was recently interviewed in Health Magazine about her concerns towards the fast growing plastic surgery epidemic in Hollywood. She says people have become unaffected by the extreme changes plastic surgery brings, People are losing track of what a real face is like. She went on to say “Let people do what they want to do, but I do think that a new normal sometimes starts to exist where the cosmetic surgery itself starts to look normal, and we lose track of what a real face is like” She went on to say  “Some of those procedures that make you look younger – I don’t know that they really made anybody look younger. I think most of the time they made you look like you’ve had something done to your face.”

Moore who is 50 now, admitted she sometimes feels insecure about her own looks. Especially on the red carpet where there are so many confident looking people. She joked being her age has it benefits. she said “The bar is much lower. People are like, ‘Oh my God, you look great!’ So that’s sort of good.’ I wonder if Julianne would feel differently about plastic surgery if she wasn’t a gorgeous Hollywood actress?
