Sometimes you get plastic surgery, and sometimes you earn plastic surgery. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows author and billionaire (yup there’s a writer that’s made billions off of her work, art isn’t dead folks) JK Rowlings definitely earned whatever work she’s had done. The single mother started her writing career while on the UK’s version of welfare, and while supporting her infant daughter and trying to get her master’s degree, so needless to say, she was deservedly a bit haggard when we all first laid eyes on her in the late 90s. However, now that she’s “buy her own country” rich, she can afford to look her best, and she’s done just that. She appears to have gotten eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) in order to remove the bags from under her eyes and give them a more vibrant look, and also appears to have had some sort of skin treatment (maybe Botox or Restalyne injections, maybe laser smoothing). Whatever she’s done, she spent the right money with the right doctors, because she looks amazing. She looks very much her age, but a perfect version of it. She didn’t overdue it, and by also losing some weight, she looks just right. So we commend you JK, you’re an amazing author, and an amazing patient.
