It looks like the star of Apollonia 6 and Purple Rain, Apollonia Kotero, has succumbed to the superficial ways of Hollywood and got a new set of big boobs. Why ruin a pair of big, natural and perfect breasts? It’s hard to fathom why some people are not happy with what they have, especially when what they had was perfect already. Apollonia has a petite body type that looks out of proportion with such a large top. She has a sort of an Amazon woman look to her now. That’s not good. I know Apollonia is at her early 50’s and she’s not getting any younger, but she could’ve had normal implants instead of these supersized ones put in. It just doesn’t fit her. Too bad Apollonia doesn’t think so herself. I think the unanimous decision is that Apollonia’s boob job is simply too big for her. Now on to her face. Here is where I think she made an improvement. Take a look at the before and after pictures. I find them quite dramatic. This is one of the few examples where Botox actually showed some benefits. Apollonia appears to have shaven a few years off her age.

Julie Newmar: A Catwoman and Her Botox

Everyone wants to know what happened to the woman who played the original “catwoman” in the Batman television show from the 60’s. Well her name is Julie Newmar. She is 77 years old and still loves getting attention from the camera. It appears that Julie has some surgical help staying young looking. While she has always had her eyebrows arched, she has had a face lift and brow lift as well. Critics speculate that Julie may have had a past rhinoplasty procedure giving her nose a slimmer look. The speculation continues as it becomes noticeable that Julie may have had a neck lift as well, seeing that she has nothing to gobble about under her neck. Her looks indicate that she may be using Botox for her forehead and brows, in addition to fillers for her lips and face. However, one plastic surgeon stated that Julie has had a lot of work done, and it would not be to her advantage to have anymore plastic surgeries done at this time. Despite her age she is still regarded as being the sexiest “catwoman” ever.

Best known for her role as Princess Leia of the Star wars trilogies, Carrie Fisher has been busy these days working on her own legend. It seems Ms. Fisher may have gone under the knife. It would appear that the novel and screenplay writer has had quite a few cosmetic procedures done to alter her appearance. According to rumors the 54 year old actress has undergone an eye lift, a neck lift, and even a face lift. One surgeon states that her neck and jaw are tighter and smoother in appearance now. He also states that her eye lids give away her surgery secrets because they are over done. Another critic seems to agree that Carrie may have had a small amount of Botox injections, a few face fillers, a possible brow lift surgery and a definite face lift. Any surgery she has had has been done over time and not all at once. However, I wouldn’t say her plastic surgery was all that bad. Her skin does appear more natural looking than many of her peers that have undergone similar procedures

Heather Locklear has been adored by men everywhere since her first big exposure playing a cop whose hair was always way too perfect on TJ Hooker, and Sammie Jo on Dynasty. Some people think that she started experimenting with plastic surgery early in her career, but odds are that she waited until the late 80s/early 90s to go under the knife. She got a breast augmentation (she went bigger) before beginning her most famous run on-screen as a star of Melrose Place. She also started working on her nose around this time. It’s hard to tell if she’s had more than one nose job (rhinoplasty), as her nose has gotten thinner and more pinched at the tip as time has gone on. This points to at least one time under the knife, but it’s hard to tell if she has gone under numerous times, or just gotten older. More recently, it’s looked like she had either a facelift or gotten Botox. Her cheeks look fuller and her skin looks tighter, but again, it could just be that she’s aging. Either way, she still looks great for her age, and since she’s not with Richie Sambora anymore, she doesn’t have to share her hair products, so she’s got that going for her.

Steven Tyler Walks the Plastic Surgery Way

Steven Tyler has been entertaining audiences as the front man of rock band Aerosmith for almost four decades now. Steven has done it all. He’s admitted that he lived the rock n roll lifestyle for years and years, abusing his body. Drinking, smoking, drug abuse and general chaos will eventually take its toll on a person. Now that Steven is in his 60′s he didn’t only hit the wall he obliterated it. Look at the before pictures and you can see how tired and old Steven really looks when the make-up and lights aren’t on. Now that Steven has landed the hottest job in the world replacing Simon Cowell on American Idol, Steven has had a Botox make over to soften the hard wrinkles in his face. You have to remember Steven is a Senior citizen and the American Idol audience has an Average age of around 14 years old. How is a teenager going to relate to this old wrinkled guy with long hair that won’t sit still? I think it’s an improvement really and has given Steven the more youthful appearance he was going for.

Now let’s talk about Steven nose. He once joked he snorted all of Peru. I don’t think he was kidding. Steven’s nose looks like it has had some major reworking done to it. Look at his left nostril and you’ll notice it’s sloping now compared to pictures when he was younger. No doubt a botched nose job. How old was Steven Tyler when he got plastic surgery?Probably before nose job procedures were perfected. For a man approaching 70 you have to give Mr. Tyler credit. He is still got more energy than most of the performers half his age. If you think Steven Tyler is slowing down you can dream on.

Somewhere between her debut roles, winning an Academy Award for a really crappy movie, and falling into semi-obscurity, Gwyneth Paltrow found time to get some work done. It looks an awful lot like she had a nose job (rhinoplasty) to thin out her schnozzle, and perhaps a blepharoplasty to change the shape of her eyes. She also looks like she’s recently been getting Botox treatments, but that could just be make up. One thing for certain is she had a boob job. Her breasts are clearly bigger and less droopy now. Just look at the before and after pictures. They never lie. Gwyneth is married to rock star Chris Martin from Cold Play who is also no stranger to cosmetic surgery himself. Chris had a hair transplant not too long ago. I guess plastic surgery is something they can now say they have in common.

Jennie Garth rose to prominence playing a high school student on Beverly Hills 90210 and now as she stars in the re-launch of that same show, she seems to still be trying to look like she’s in high school, and at 39, that means plastic surgery. Recent photos of the actress have her looking less like the fresh faced star from the 90s, and more like a wax museum version of herself. She looks very synthetic. Her skin looks pulled tight, possibly from a facelift or botox injections, and her eyes look abnormally wide, as if she had eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). It’s very clear that she’s had work done, and that it didn’t go as well as she expected. It’s a shame too, as it’s always upsetting to see people go overboard trying to stay young.

Sometimes celebrities get plastic surgery and you never notice because they do it so subtly and because they keep an overall low profile. Then sometimes, there’s Britney Spears. The former pop princess turned tabloid queen has had a lot of work done, and has been terrible about hiding it. Her first surgery was done to her nose (rhinoplasty), taking it from bulbous and pudgy in her Mouseketeer days, to thinner and “pinched at the tip” when she hit the big time as a pop act.

Her next big surgery was her famous boob job (breast augmentation) that she got when she was just a teen. She didn’t do a great job of hiding her new implants either. She went from borderline flat chested to having big boobs in days.She then denied the implant rumors, and even made fun of them on her appearance as host of Saturday Night Live.

Things were quiet on the surgery front for a bit, until she started her descent into madness. After having her two kids, her body was understandably not what it once was, and it’s rumored she combated this by having a ton of liposuction treatments to her stomach, thighs, legs, and butt, as evidenced by the rapid change in the shape of her legs around this time. They went from chunky to thin in days, another bit of Britney’s trademark bull in a china shop subtlety.

It also seems that she got her implants down sized during her pregnant period, but that didn’t last as she was recently spotted with an over-inflated chest again (that’s three breast augmentations if you’re counting). She also seems to have started getting Botox injected into her upper lip recently, and as always, she went all-in right away and left no doubts about what she was doing. I’m curious to see what she does next, maybe a chin implant, maybe even bigger boobs, maybe something completely new like a third eye or an extra nostril. Whatever she does though, I’m sure she’ll do it like she always has, larger than necessary and with zero discretion.

Charice – Filipina Singer and Glee Cast Member Gets Botox

Filipina singer and Glee cast member Charice Pempengco is just 18 years old, but that didn’t stop her from getting Botox treatments. Rumor has it Charice was looking to have the treatments make her face less round and more narrow. Sounds like Charice is trying to change her Asian features to me. As you can see in the pictures the results seem to have been moderately achieved. As you can imagine there has been some negative feedback directed towards Charice, but she is an adult and can make her own decisions. Charice’s publicist released a statement saying “The Botox was “absolutely not cosmetic” but instead was a treatment for muscle pain in her jaw” ummmm yeah ok, we buy that one. It wasn’t that long ago Charice was an unknown but thanks to appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah shows she is now having her chance to shine. We’ll keep an eye out for Charice on Glee and report any new cosmetic procedures she might decide to get.

Barbara Walters is vying for one of the top spots in our success story category. Can you believe this woman is over 80 years old? Where are her wrinkles? Its as if she is a magic sorceress and every morning when she puts on her magic hair helmet she weaves a spell that takes 20 years off her face, it must be something like Darth Vader’s helmet. The only chink in the armor may be that you can see a definite tightening under her jaw from face lift(s). Her eyes and neck have definitely been altered to remove bagginess but it looks natural. Her skin looks good, her cheeks are a little fuller than when she was younger – fillers, and there are no forehead lines or crows’ feet – botox. Overall, all that combined with clever makeup results in a high score for Barbara in the youth-defying challenge.
